-Taught my very first yoga class. It was great. I was nervous I would go too fast my my timing wasn't bad at all. Very happy to be able to teach what I love. I asked a wise friend for advice on how to avoid choking. He said to imagine telling someone who has no ego, and no reason at all to judge you, about the things that you've spent so much time learning about. So I kept this in mind and it really helped keep the class in perspective.
-I went down to the beach to hear the Virginia Symphony Orchestra play for free. There were lots of people clapping along to the medleys. Why do these highly trained, professional musicians allow such travesties? Nobody ever needs to hear an instrumental medley entitled "Highlights from Evita." Nope. Never.
-I made a new friend, Panda. I hope Panda lives forever. (see photo)
-The idea is to post daily what happens here at Katy Kamp. I thought it would be fun to share ideas about what to do while by yourself. In my case I'm unemployed, but this could be useful if you've just had your wisdom teeth pulled, or maybe your on a family vacation and you hate your family, or even if you just can't go outside because the sun hurts your eyes. There is always something to do at Katy Kamp.
