Black pants.
Black hair.
Red shoes.
That's patriotism, folks.
I feel peaceful right now. Like people are listening to one another and looking in eyes instead of at the floor. I want to read more, create more, walk more, laugh more, etc. You know, be more. I am thankful for the kind people in Mexico who have so warmly welcomed me. I love the old world, but it's the brave new world now.
Tonight a small government plane crashed into a major street in D.F. about 5 minutes from where I was watching the election in La Condesa. Read more about it if you want.
But let's not focus on that! Obamanos!
"He was so honest you know. He means it"
"They love each other. There is something there that matters...it's beautiful really."
To be sure, McCain's speech was really wonderful. He is a respectable leader and his efforts were for the most part honorable and commendable. I hope we won't be partisan assholes anymore. (!)

That goes along with the way you were talking last night though :]
I felt the exact same way last night, that people were listening to each other and looking at each other instead of the floor...I had the SAME EXACT thought about 50 times last night.
A solid quote today from my piano teacher was this, "did you recognize how the rest of the world was excited about the change america made?" Ive got hope.
