A night out

This is the real thing. The mic broke and Alice started shaking the lights and they stopped the show. They give away free drinks with names like "The Red Raider" or "Cucumber Dream." Everyone there was full of energy and danced a lot--it was a solid crowd of beautiful people having a good time. Not unlike the shows in Austin, only better clothes and more dancing.
Before the show we went to a mezcaleria and had some mezcal made from Yucca. They give you big fava beans to snack on and a huge ball of oaxacan cheese. Maybe I should have eaten more because after a guy knocked my second over, I got a third and my body was tingling and warm.
Then we went to the Camino Real Hotel, which was built for the 1968 Olympics, for a party celebrating a new mural installation. It was similar in style to the 2012 London Olympics logo, only better. We topped it off with tacos and a long conversation about something, then made it home in time for 2 hours of sleep before work. So I've concluded there is a fancy time to be had here in D.F.
